Cambridge introduces carpet tile with environmental benefits

August 20, 2007—Cambridge Commercial Carpets introduces Mystic, a modular carpet tile that takes the mystery out of color coordination while unveiling several environmental benefits.

An organic linear, 1/10 gauge textured loop pattern, Mystic is offered in four striking multi-colored blends. Each color ‘cast’, Demeter Grey, Bacchus Beige, Athena Green, and Poseidon Blue, offers unlimited color matching with multiple interior finishes. Mystic’s distinctive coloration comes from a unique tufting technology that enables the use of small lots of various colored yarns – diverting useful materials from the manufacturing waste stream, and ultimately the public landfill.

Mystic is available with Puralex, an environmentally-friendly air refresher specifically formulated to purify the air indoors, and Nexterra backing, which contains 85% post-consumer recycled content from recycled glass and plastic drink bottles. Mystic qualifies for LEED point criteria under recycled content and IAQ, low emitting materials.

Cambridge is a division of Beaulieu Commercial. For more information, see the Web site.
