March 4, 2002—The Canadian Alliance for Business in South Africa (CABSA) announced that it has been successful in bringing together a Canadian and South African partnership to provide facilities management expertise to the South African market. Daniels Associates Inc. of Toronto has entered into an agreement with Metro Cleaning, based in Cape Town, South Africa. The agreement will enable Daniels Associates to penetrate a new market with a capable local partner while allowing Metro Cleaning to provide new and existing clients with cutting edge expertise. The new partnership will involve training, transfer of technology, software distribution, and jointly providing FM expertise to the South African market.
Daniels Associates Inc. is an international consulting company providing industrial facilities services. It provides customers with computerized software programs, audio cassettes, facility inspection forms, training booklets, and seminars. The South African partner, Metro Cleaning, is currently involved in providing cleaning and other associated services to clients across South Africa.
