February 6, 2008—Cannon Hygiene USA has introduced the Dyson Airblade, which dries hands in only 12 seconds, according to the company.
Cannon says the Airblade is the fastest dryer available. It is also cost-effective, delivering savings of nearly 98 percent compared to paper towels.
It is also energy efficient, says Cannon, using up to 80 percent less energy than conventional dryers. New to the US market, the Airblade is HEPA filtered to remove bacteria from the air and is responsible for maintaining health and hygiene standards for some of Britains royal households including Buckingham Palace.
The Dyson Airblade is endorsed by the British Skin Foundation, the Royal Institute of Public Health, and certified by the NSF International.
