Carpet cleaning market consolidates with Steam Way acquisition

Evidence of more consolidation in the carpet cleaning market appeared in January as professional carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment manufacturer Steam Way International, Inc., agreed to an acquisition by Daley International. Daley is a chemical and equipment manufacturing company specializing in the janitorial/sanitation market, institutional laundry industry and housekeeping product industry. The company hopes the Steam Way acquisition will enhance their branded product position in the marketplace.
