Carrier Corporation’s Syracuse, New York, campus has been named a 1999 WasteWise Program Champion by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It has also been awarded an Achievement of Excellence citation by the state of New York. Both of these awards are to recognize Carrier’s recycling and waste reduction program, which has reduced waste by 74% yearly, saving over $3.8 million.
