February 24, 2003—Centerstone Software, Inc., has unveiled a new version of its e-Center One enterprise solution for workplace executives and managers. Version 4.1 brings new functionality and more advanced features to those involved in complex move management by eliminating time spent in the planning process, creating “what if” scenarios, and reducing manual manipulation of dependent asset allocations.
Other new features allow for enhanced CAD manipulation, a new custom Report Wizard, an upgrade to Workplace Lease Management (Workplace LM), as well as other enhancements.
e-Center One is a Web-based solution that ties together multiple databases and software products throughout the workplace, providing a complete view of an organizations real estate, facilities, space, personnel, life-safety, operations, and asset information for decision-making, strategic analysis, scenario planning, and on-going management.
Although Version 4.1 features multiple product enhancements that assist workplace managers in creating a more cost-efficient and productive workplace, the majority of the release efforts were focused on providing innovative move management capabilities. With the addition of move lists, the ability to drag and drop people and assets onto floor plans, and the real-time synchronization of proposed floor plans with daily workplace changes, organizations are seeing a reduction in the time, redundancy, and data inconsistencies within the move process.
