CEOs say consumers still want quality, price in “green” products

July 27, 2007—A report from the recent Reuters Consumer and Retail Summit shows the perception of corporate CEOs to be that although consumers increasingly want companies to produce environmentally friendly products through sustainable processes, they are not necessarily willing to pay increased prices or to buy items of lesser quality or appearance.
