CERSAIE 2026: Discover the future of ceramics in Bologna, Italy

August 5, 2026 — From September 21 to 25, 2026, CERSAIE — the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings — will return to Bologna, Italy, bringing together more than 600 manufacturers and 100,000 visitors from over 160 countries for a look at the latest innovations in ceramic tile, sanitaryware and bathroom furnishings.

As a global hub for architects, designers, contractors, facility managers, developers, distributors and building professionals, CERSAIE provides a unique opportunity to discover emerging design directions, connect with leading manufacturers, and experience firsthand how innovations across ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings are expanding the possibilities for residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces.

Advances in technology, fabrication and installation methods are placing new, versatile applications for ceramics at the forefront of this year’s show. Exhibitors will showcase the latest solutions that leverage ceramic and porcelain’s inherently durable, non-porous, and naturally hygienic qualities, with new introductions spanning ultra-thin slabs, 2cm porcelain pavers, kitchen countertops, cabinetry, induction cooktops, and outdoor surfaces. Visitors can also explore the newest bathroom innovations, including integrated washbasins, vanities, wall-mounted sinks, bathtubs, and advanced shower drainage systems that combine high performance with contemporary design.

Complementing the exhibition, CERSAIE‘s expertly curated conference program will deliver a robust schedule of educational sessions exploring architecture, sustainability, material innovation, and technical advancements. Highlights include a keynote lecture by esteemed architect and Pritzker Prize winner Alejandro Aravena on Thursday, September 24.

Beyond the conference halls, the show’s popular Tiling Town program will feature live tile installation demonstrations by professionals from around the world, showcasing best practices and the latest techniques for installing large-format porcelain slabs and other innovative materials. The week will also celebrate design excellence with the announcement of the winners of the 2026 Ceramics of Italy International Tile Competition, recognizing outstanding international projects that demonstrate the creative and technical possibilities of Italian ceramic tile.
