CFO develops 3-tiered furniture design package

April 30, 2008—Contract Furniture Options, Inc. (CFO), a leading furniture dealership serving the mid-Atlantic region, has introduced a three-tiered Packaged Office Plan for busy company owners, facilities managers and office managers.

Each level of office package offers options with coordinating materials and finishes in desks, chairs and other furniture, whether for a top executive, mid-level or staff line position.

The Executive Package includes desks in L- and U-shaped configurations, a credenza, work wall and other options. Typically priced in wood, the same configurations are also available in laminate for cost savings.

The Management Package provides choices for furniture in the medium-priced category. This is priced in a laminate product that matches, or coordinates with, the finish chosen in the high-end package. Maintaining continuity, even when a client is moving existing furniture to their new space, can be accomplished.

The Support Package offers lower-priced options, without sacrificing design and style. Options include modular or cubicle style workstations that are consistent with the overall style chosen.

These packages are designed for people who are pressed for time and don’t want to be flooded with impractical options, explains Karen Altschuler, co-owner. “It also allows them to furnish many offices while maintaining continuity throughout their space. Appearance and style really can be accomplished within anyones budget.”

As part of the packaged office program, CFO clients receive detailed layouts to show how their selections will fit into the available space.

As a full-service company, CFO can also accommodate client needs for interior finishes, carpeting, artwork and lighting. In 2005, CFO—a woman-owned business—received a GSA Packaged Office Schedule. This designation permits contracting officers at government agencies to use only one purchase order when their requirements are for many products, from multiple manufacturers.
