CIPEC publishes guide for energy managers of industrial facilities

April 1, 2005—The Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) has published a 98-page guide for energy managers of industrial facilities.

The guide explains the use of computer-driven energy management and monitoring systems. A section is devoted to each of 23 industries, including transportation equipment manufacturing, dairy, aluminum, concrete, and chemicals. Additionally, 12 case studies of facilities in a variety of industries are reported.
