Clifton’s new test results show ASAP-AGX-32 disinfectant has high kill rate against black mold

September 9, 2005—Upon completion of testing its ASAP-AGX-32 disinfectant product against deadly black mold, Stachybotrys charatum, American Biotech Labs has announced that the product achieved “a kill rate greater than 99.9% in just 10 minutes of contact time.” American Biotech Labs is a private company, and Clifton Mining Company is its largest shareholder, owning 24%.

Black mold can be a serious problem in dry, as well as damp, locations, says American Biotech. The presence of Stachybotrys charatum, because of its extreme toxicity, can make any building uninhabitable. It is particularly dangerous, adds American Biotech, in flood-damaged buildings.

The company says that these new test results can extend the proven uses of the ASAP product to black mold, a worldwide problem because of the dangerous mycotoxins it products. American Biotech will be filing test results with appropriate government agencies with the intent of adding black mold to the ASAP-AFG-GX-32 label. It notes that the ASAP product has no color and no smell.
