October 2, 2002—The International Code Council (ICC) and US Gypsum Association are offering a free forum on an burgeoning industry topic: “MOLD: Implications for Codes and the Built Environment?” This free presentation and discussion is for architects, contractors, building officials, building inspectors, home builders, insurance companies, and concerned citizens. It will address mold and the growing concern for the design, construction, and insurance industries. The impact of mold on construction codes and the built environment will be discussed, as well as methods of prevention.
The forum will be held in conjunction with the ICC Annual Conference and Code Hearings on September 30, at the Fort Worth Convention Center, Room 121B, at 5360 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California 90601-2298. No reservations necessary. For more information visit the ICC.
