September 1, 2006—Colonial Commerce Corp., distributor of HVAC equipment, has launched its e-commerce store. The site is operated by The RAL Supply Group, Inc., one of Colonial’s wholly owned subsidiaries.
Initially, the site will offer water filtration systems, parts and accessories. In the near future, it will broaden the range of products available on the site to include air filtration, humidification, and other residential and light commercial systems and accessories.
Colonial distributes heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, parts and accessories, climate control systems, and plumbing supplies to HVAC contractors, primarily in the New York metropolitan area through its Universal Supply Group, Inc., American/Universal Supply Inc., and the RAL Supply Group, Inc., subsidiaries.
Colonial explains that these contractors purchase and install equipment and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial users. Universal also provides control system design, custom control panel fabrication, technical field support, in-house training and climate control consultation for engineers and installers. It is a leader in the design of direct digital control systems and systems that control multi-location facilities through the Internet.
