May 9, 2005—Com-Trol has introduced a family of Crysalis controllers and sensors designed to improve the control, supervision and networking of commercial refrigeration, HVAC and lighting systems for supermarkets and other retail facilities, the company says.
Most significantly, the new product family includes the CWEB Web Services Gateway, which enables multiple users to monitor and supervise refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controllers over intranet or Internet via a standard Web browser, and on any Web-enabled PC, the company says.
The new Crysalis product family is ‘backward compatible’ with the complete line of existing Com-Trol system components, notes the company.
