November 4, 2002—The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) recently signed an agreement with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) to cooperate to promote professionalism and excellence in the management of the construction process throughout the construction industry. CMAA and NSPE will also work together to strengthen the relationship between the two organizations.
The goal of the CMAA/NSPE partnership is to help current and future construction engineering and management professionals broaden their range of professional abilities in order to address twenty-first century challenges. CMAA and NSPE say they will provide education and networking tools to colleagues in the construction community help them advance their construction engineering and management careers, “while strengthening our nation’s infrastructure.” CMAA and NSPE will also encourage joint membership in both organizations.
