ContingenZ Corp. unveils low-cost disaster recovery system

October 18, 2002—A new white paper presenting a roadmap to disaster recovery strategies is now available on the ContingenZ Corporation Web site. This white paper explains a new methodology for use by disaster recovery and business contingency planners.

The new methodology is called “Reserve Systems” and is based on the concept of using distributed small computers in small clusters or individual configurations to recover key functions quickly and inexpensively.

“While standby systems and hot sites are good alternatives for many functions, they require large expenditures and close management. These reserve systems are low cost and are much easier to deploy and manage,” says Michael Miora, President of ContingenZ Corporation.

Additional white paper address the disaster recovery process with a focus on high ROI and effective planning to address conventional and new threats that organizations must now face.
