June 22, 2005—Controlled Power Company, a worldwide manufacturer of products providing complete electrical power conditioning and protection, is introducing its new Model LTN uninterruptible power system.
The LTN is a UL / cUL 1778 listed UPS which provides uninterrupted, regulated, continuous sinewave output. The unit’s integral constant voltage transformer isolates and regulates output voltage, says the company. The LTN has a standard NEMA 2 enclosure, and is offered with an optional outdoor-rated NEMA 3R enclosure for outdoor installations. It is also generator-compatible, notes the company.
With a front-access design and a small footprint, the LTN is suited for wall- or floor-mounted installations. It is ideal for industrial, security /surveillance, mass transit/traffic control, pump stations, water treatment, irrigation, telecommunications, transmission repeaters, cell-phone towers, and many other “harsh-environment” types of applications, the company says.
