January 17, 2005—OfficeMax office supply retailers has announced it is changing the name of its print-for-pay business from CopyMax to OfficeMax Print and Document Services. OfficeMax says the new name better reflects the full capabilities of copy and print services for retail customers as well as corporate customers requiring management, production, and distribution of documents across the country.
Contract customers will benefit from next-day, free delivery of both office products and print orders in one shipment. With OfficeMax’s 100% fully digital network, customers can send files directly from a desktop to the nearest OfficeMax location via the Web.
OfficeMax Print and Document Services facilities, located inside the nearly 1,000 OfficeMax stores nationwide, offer full-service digital printing, self-serve copying, custom printing, and a full suite of binding and finishing services. These services utilize cutting-edge technology, including a fleet of more than 5,000 Xerox digital printers and copiers.
OfficeMax Print and Document Services facilities also will open inside each of the 50 new retail stores that OfficeMax expects to open in 2005.
