CoreNet Global launches magazine for corporate real estate leaders

December 20, 2002—CoreNet Global, the worldwide professional association for corporate real estate executives, asset managers, and industry service providers, has launched a magazine for the corporate real estate industry. CoreNet calls “the definitive journal” for case studies and best practices, Corporate Real Estate Leader.

Corporate Real Estate Leader will feature profiles of leading corporate real estate executives and firsthand case studies of groundbreaking trends and relevant best practices. In the first issue, SBC Communications’ Mary Manning and her senior management staff are profiled in the cover story, describing how SBC Real Estate is leveraging the efficiencies and best practices obtained from a series of strategic acquisitions in its drive to achieve world-class performance.

Also included in the premiere issue are the 2nd Quarter 2002 Johnson Controls USA and UK Office Occupancy Costs Indexes, as well as feature articles by senior corporate real estate professionals at IBM, Compaq, Morgan Stanley, Cushman & Wakefield, and other leading firms.

Corporate Real Estate Leader, which is supported by industry advertising, is a benefit of membership in CoreNet Global, which was formed by the May 1, 2002 merger of the International Development Research Council (IDRC) and the International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (NACORE). Members also receive discounted access to Global Summits and continuing education programs, participation in learning communities, executive development series and seminars, and participation in the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) certification program.
