Innovest Capital Risk Advisors, S.A., recently announced results from two new research reports that correlate industrial resource efficiency with the financial performance of more than 30 major U.S. multinational corporations. The reports reveal that the most eco- efficient companies financially outperform the competition in their sectors. Innovest used a new proprietary analytical tool called EcoRisc ’21(tm) to examine leading companies in the petroleum and chemical industries. Companies receiving top marks in the Innovest reports include Texaco, Mobil, Phillips Petroleum and Monsanto. Among the companies receiving the lowest marks were Occidental Petroleum, Pennzoil, Unocal, and Union Carbide.
