Corrigo’s new wireless software upgrades maintenance management

June 5, 2006—In announcing its Spring 2006 software release, Corrigo, Inc., calls its new product the only wireless, Web-based work order application to deliver productivity benefits to everyone in the service delivery chain, from dispatchers to field staff to service managers.

The following are highlights of the Spring 2006 release, based, says Corrigo, on its 400 customers’ top requirements and requests:

  • At-a-glance Calendar-view dispatch boards has the ability to schedule and see work orders on a daily, weekly, or monthly view.

  • Mobile Manager can remotely view, assign, and reassign work orders, check work order status, and view team workloads. This helps small operations that do not have a dispatcher.

  • Bluetooth peripheral support provides the ability to print and scan while in the field. It scans parts inventory to ensure accurate parts and materials tracking.

  • Security enhancements include new security features such as role access control, password regulation, and SSL-enabled encryption, representing the industry standard for protecting information and helping enable standardization for geographically dispersed businesses.

  • Dashboard graphical reports are multilayered reports that provide summary and detailed information, as well as hyperlinks, charts, and graphs.

  • Vendor Portal Updates improve the ability and ease of vendors to search, respond, and coordinate work orders.

The release is available now in either the CorrigoNet or CorrigoConnect package, and says Corrigo, free trials are available. Corrigo adds that the new release is compatible with Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular wireless services and mobile devices.
