April 13, 2007—Crego Metal Systems has introduced the Galvaply steel single ply roofing system, saying it is adaptable to most commercial, industrial, institutional and government building configurations.
The roofing system can accommodate slope as low as one-quarter inch per foot, says the company, adding that all system components are engineered and manufactured for optimum design versatility.
The system consists of a strong and flexible steel framing system, large flat seam galvalume steel roof panels, interlocking metal flashings and counterflashings, steel edges, metal wall panels, stainless steel drain systems and low profile stainless steel seam fasteners. Galvaply can be designed to accommodate both new construction and retrofit re-roofing applications.
According to the company, Galvaply is lightweight, puncture-resistant, energy efficient, environmentally friendly and virtually maintenance-free.
