December 5, 2005—The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) announced its third annual Workforce Development Awards at its 2005 National Construction Conference in Florida and called upon the industry to continue its progress in promoting construction workforce training and recruitment across the US and Canada.
The awards are designed to give significant national/international recognition to companies and organizations that implement effective recruitment and training programs that develop first class craftsmen and managers, and encourage people to pursue careers in construction.
The Selected Winners are:
- ExxonMobil Baytown Complex;
- The Oregon Building Congress;
- The www.ConstructMyFuture.com Project; and
- The Joint UA/NCPWB Welder Certification Program.
