November 14, 2007—Curtis Packaging announced recently that it has become the first 100% carbon neutral printing and packaging company in North America.
The luxury folding carton manufacturer also claims to be the first printing and packaging company in the US to be both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and to use 100% renewable energy to power all of their operations.
Curtis Packaging says it will work with The Carbon Neutral Company, headquartered in London, to neutralize the company’s remaining unavoidable CO2 emissions with investments in a portfolio of independently audited, high quality projects.
