Cushman & Wakefield and Zeborg form facilities e-commerce alliance

Cushman & Wakefield, global real estate services firm, and Zeborg, a b2b e-commerce company, have partnered to form FacilitesWork, which will create the first e-commerce marketplace designed to deliver product savings and operational efficiencies to companies. Operating as a subsidiary of Zeborg, FacilitiesWork is poised to attack the $190 billion facilities operations market.

FacilitiesWork combines the purchasing power of Cushman &Wakefield’s facilities management operations with Zeborg’s proprietary technology and procurement expertise to give corporate buyers control of the money and resources they devote to their facilities operations. Zeborg is a business-to-business e-commerce company that enables companies to achieve and sustain dramatic savings in their procurement of indirect goods and services. The company points to its track record of saving its customers an average of 10% to 20% in more than 100 major indirect spending areas.

FacilitiesWork is scheduled to begin operating on a limited basis in October 2000 and will add products and services in January 2001.
