Dauphin introduces new corporate structure

November 15, 2002—Dauphin, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of ergonomic office chairs and seating, unveiled its new corporate structure at ORGATEC 2002, the international tradeshow for office furnishings held in Cologne, Germany. The German-based company will be known as the Dauphin HumanDesign Group GmbH & Co., KG. For the first time, the company’s four subsidiaries—Dauphin, Zco, Trend!Office, and Bosse Design—will share design development and consulting activities under a single umbrella. In Europe, all four will also share sales and marketing, while in the U.S., Dauphin North America will market seating for Dauphin, Zco, and Trend!Office, while Bosse will market its furniture systems.

Although linked under a corporate umbrella, the four brands will maintain their individual profiles:

  • Dauphin—chair and seating solutions for the office environment, combining comfort, ergonomic function, quality design, and ecological responsibility.
  • Zco—conference, lounge, and visitor seating, as well as tables and seminar furniture.
  • Trend!Office—six chair families designed for the contemporary workplace at affordable prices.
  • Bosse Design—furniture systems that provide flexible workstations, including desks, tables, panels, shelves, and a variety of storage solutions, suitable for reception and conference areas as well as office areas.
