March 9, 2007—Davis Furniture, a family owned and operated manufacturer of contemporary office furniture, is introducing a new chair and table program at Intersect West 2007 – The NYO Series.
All components of the NYO Chair are made from aluminum, except the nylon glides, and so can be recycled, making the product environmental friendly, says the company.
Chairs may be stacked four high and are separated with onboard bumpers. Even though the chair only weighs ten pounds, the structure offers strength and durability, says Davis.
The arms and legs are available in polished aluminum or silver powdercoate. To combine with these two arm selections are ten powdercoate colors for the backs and seats. All powdercoates are polyester based that will inherently block UV and ultraviolet rays, so any chair combination may be used indoors or outdoors. Also available are tables with a molded wood and resin top that may be used outdoors. It is available in two sizes in silver powdercoate only on the top and base.
The indoor tables use the same silver powdercoate base with rigid plastic leg protectors and adjustable glide. These tables are offered in two sizes both in round and square. The veneer tops are available in beech, cherry, maple and oak, while the laminate tops offer a unique collection of special laminates that blend with the ten powdercoate colors of the backs and seats.
