Del Monte and Lear apply Datastream’s Web-based procurement services

Two additional companies, Del Monte Foods Company and Lear Corporation, are now using Datastream’s online procurement programs to streamline purchasing and improve operating efficiencies.

Del Monte says it selected Datastream’s iProcure network as its online procurement solution because of the program’s operating efficiencies and cost savings. The iProcure network automates electronic commerce for maintenance, repair, and operations procurement, which is an element in the total asset management cycle.

The automotive supplier Lear Corporation is implementing its first phase in a nationwide program of Datastream’s iProcure network, relying on it for all non-production industrial parts and supplies for maintenance, repair, and operations at all of its US sites.

Datastream Systems, Inc., helps more than 56,000 customers in 129 countries maximize the profitability of capital assets: from buying and tracking through maintaining and selling. For more information, contact Datastream as well as their ad on FMLink.
