Devine Design’s Toilet Jack keeps wall-mounted toilets from collapsing

July 28, 2006—Devine Design Products, Inc. manufacturers of the Big John Toilet Seat (a bariatric toilet seat rated at 1200 lbs) introduces the Toilet Jack a support that helps secure and prevent wall-mounted toilets from collapsing.

One problem that a lot of hospitals have with heavier patients is that their wall-mounted toilets only support up to 350 pounds. Weights higher than that can cause the toilet to loosen or break off the wall.

The Toilet Jack is a retractable stainless steel and silicone pedestal that easily attaches to most manufacturers’ wall-mounted toilets increasing their weight capacity while maintaining their hygienic benefits.

Typically, wall-mounted toilets are supported by a bracket inside the wall that bears all the weight of the toilet as well as the user. Toilet Jack mounts underneath the bowl and works in conjunction with the existing wall bracket to redistribute the weight, increasing the weight capacity to 1,000 pounds.
