October 6, 2004—Dexterra, a provider of enterprise mobility middleware connecting field workers with back office systems, recently won two Gold Star and two Silver Star Mobile Star Awards from MobileVillage, a market development company and news service dedicated to enterprise mobile technology.
The Mobile Star Awards, now entering their fourth year, honor and promote the best companies, products, deployments, and leaders in mobile and wireless technology. Winners are chosen by subscribers to Go Mobile, MobileVillage’s free online newsletter sent to technology executives, buyers, IT managers, developers, and top tech journalists.

The National Field Service case study highlighting Dexterra showed National Filter Service (NFS) realized a full return on its Dexterra Field Service investment in just five months by increasing efficiency 27% and expanding its customer base without increasing cost. Regular data inputs from the field resulted in fewer errors in reporting and reduced the average billing cycle from 21 days to 2 days.
Dexterra also took top honors with the Dexterra Field Service application, which offers service management, real-time monitoring of service calls, service planning and scheduling, logistics management, up-sell and cross-sell capabilities, and financial processing.
