November 20, 2009—Dolphin Blue, an online retailer of environmentally responsible office supplies, has announced that it is participating in Renewable Choice Energy’s Round Up Impact Down program. Renewable Choice Energy helps businesses and individuals understand and reduce their environmental impact with renewable energy, carbon offsets and services such as greenhouse gas inventories and the Round Up Impact Down program, according to Dolphin Blue, a 16-year-old online retailer of green office supplies.
Round Up Impact Down is a simple and effective program that supports carbon reduction projects and generates awareness for the environmental impact associated with delivering goods.
Through the program, customers have the opportunity to offset a portion of the carbon emissions associated with shipping their orders. The extra charge that Dolphin Blue collects when customers choose to “round up” is invested in a carbon reduction project in the U.S. In addition, Dolphin Blue will provide a one-to-one match all Round Up Impact Down contributions received.
