April 24, 2006—The Dow Chemical Company announces the launch of its polyurethane carpet backing technology in Europe, allowing European carpet manufacturers to offer their customers Dow’s high-performing polyurethane technology for their carpet backings.
Dow says that its Enhancer Technology and Enforcer Technology provide commercial broadloom and tile carpet with superior stability, enduring look, and long life. The polyurethane backing technology can also be applied to synthetic turf, reportedly a major product for European carpet manufacturers. Turf backed with Dow polyurethane technology allows for improved safety, comfort, and durability, says Dow.
