October 3, 2008—Dri-Eaz Products has released Coil Cleaner, a nonacid cleaner that removes dust and grime buildup from the coils and fins of dehumidifiers and air conditioning units. In an aerosol can, Coil Cleaner can be used on almost any type of refrigerant coil.
Nonflammable and water based, Coil Cleaner contains no chlorinated solvents or ozone-depleting substances, according to the manufacturer. The dispenser can be held in any position, even upside down. The condensation produced by normal operation mixes with the product to strip away dirt, collecting it in the drip pan for disposalno rinsing required.
