DRI to launch roof integrated solar subsidiary, DRI Energy

May 28, 2007—DRI Companies, the parent company of two of the premier roofing contractors in the Western US, has announced the launch of a new subsidiary to provide roof integrated solar energy installation services to commercial building owners and residential home builders.

The new company, DRI Energy, will address each step of the solar installation process, from design and engineering to installation, finance, rebate administration support and system monitoring services, says the company.

DRI Energy will provide roof integrated solar products and services for both new residential and commercial construction projects, as well as existing commercial buildings, with the ability to design and build systems for both steep and low slope roof applications.

The DRI Energy team has more than 25 years of collective on-site renewable energy expertise in the development of innovative, clean energy solutions. In addition to its project design, engineering and construction services, DRI Energy can structure third-party solar project financing – such as power purchase agreements – as well as secure the state and federal incentives and rebates that make renewable energy projects more economically attractive. DRI Energy’s team has overseen the design and construction of over 75 on-site renewable energy projects for homes and businesses, according to the company.

With annual revenues of $96 million and six offices serving the Western US, DRI Companies, through its subsidiaries DRI Commercial and DRI Residential, has overseen the installation of over a quarter of a million roofs in Nevada and California. For more on the company, visit the Web site.
