May 28, 2003—EcoLogic Systems’ new ADAM Field Companion, a Tablet PC-based environmental data collection and management software, provides environmental consultants and health and safety program managers with a more efficient way to collect and manage field survey and sampling data for asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, and chemical inventories.
To simplify OSHA and EPA compliance, the ADAM Field Companion provides a variety of reports and documents. Data can also be broadcast over a company’s Intranet system using the ADAM Web Companion, so locations of hazardous materials in buildings can be accessed throughout an organization.
The ADAM Field Companion works especially well for organizations such as school districts, colleges, property management firms, public agencies, and large corporations who must collect, maintain, and process large amounts of environmental and occupational health and safety information for each of their properties to meet regulatory requirements and reduce risk.
Additionally, the system was designed for use by environmental consultants who perform asbestos, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality investigations. It is said to reduce project costs significantly by enabling users to collect electronic data in the field, and by automating the report preparation process. Environmental consultants can also host their clients’ data allowing the client secure, browser-based access.
