Ecovert FM to provide engineering and project management services to North Middlesex

October 29, 2007—Ecovert FM, Bouygues UK and HSBC Infrastructure Fund Management Limited (Bouygues Consortium) have announced that financial close has been reached on the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust’s Private Finance Initiative (PFI) scheme.

Ecovert FM will provide building engineering services and fabric maintenance, project management services, helpdesk services, infrastructure maintenance and lifecycle fund management to the new and retained estate over a 32-year period.

The contract will provide a new build Emergency Care Center, Critical and Acute Care Center, DTC and additional Clinical Support Services.

The new building, which will be completed and fully operational by 2010, has a construction cost of £111 million. Landscaping, road improvements and other work outside the building will be completed in 2011.
