EFI’s Elettra modern architectural glass collection is eco-friendly

June 15, 2011—EFI, a leading design and manufacturing innovator of original and custom glass and aluminum interior products, debuts the eco-friendly (ISO 14001certified) Elettra Collection to North American design and architectural professionals through its partnership with Omni Dcor.

With the future in mind, EFI believes in using earth-friendly materials and partnering with companies such as Omni Dcor, well-known for both pioneering eco-friendly glass treatments and exquisite designs. Omni Dcor has achieved an ISO 14001 certification for its chemical etching process, said to be environmentally safe.

In addition to being environmentally responsible, the new Elettra Collection is refined, fresh and offers some of the most innovative glass designs in decades, according to the company. New European-inspired designs achieve striking visual and textural effects through contemporary linear, geometric and natural patterns that are versatile enough for a range of interior and exterior applications, for offices and other commercial spaces.

Four original patterns reflect intensely researched color palettes and sophisticated nuances, including visual and textural effects for a depth of field and intensity, says the company.

Barcode enriches its namesake geometry with minute shifting planes that soften and add depth of interest; Structure is inspired by musical notes on a score, creating a dynamic visual pulse; Diamond uses the subtle shape of sails to convey movement and freedom; and Tree, an organic and geometric design by Marc Krusin, features a branching web of essential forms.
