December 5, 2025 — Ekoa by Lingrove has launched ColorBurst, a 40-color expansion of its flax-based wallcovering Ekoa, known for its durability, cleanability and healthy air credentials. Ekoa performance wallcovering is engineered for hospitality, healthcare, workplaces and more.
The ColorBurst collection adds rich, saturated hues designed for statement walls, branded environments, color-forward workplaces, hospitality and other high-traffic interiors.
Ekoa is fully plant based, made from rapidly renewable flax and a proprietary biobased resin. The textured material is:
- Naturally low VOC
- Red List Free
- Impact and stain resistant
- Bleach cleanable
Ekoa wraps a 3-inch radius for columns, corners and millwork. Large, seamless sheets simplify installation and reduce waste.
Flax grows in about 90 days and requires no irrigation, which helps keep the material’s footprint low. Flax also sequesters more carbon than production emits, so Ekoa is carbon negative.
Most wallcoverings rely on PVC, which carries environmental and indoor air concerns. Ekoa uses no petroleum ingredients.
To reach 40 tones for the ColorBurst collection, Ekoa’s team developed a process that embeds color into the material’s long, unidirectional flax structure while allowing the natural grain to remain visible. The result is saturation with texture suitable for high-use spaces.
