EMCOR Group wins long-term energy-related assignment from UNH

May 25, 2005—EMCOR Group, Inc. has announced the award of several long-term energy-related operations, maintenance and consulting contracts from the University of New Hampshire (UNH).

The new contracts, totaling more than $40 million over a 20-year period, build upon an existing relationship established in May 2004 for the design and construction of a new cogeneration and additional chilled water facilities at the University’s main campus in Durham, New Hampshire, the company says.

The new multi-year contracts awarded EMCOR by UNH consist of an Operations Agreement to manage UNH’s new combined heat and power plant, the new chilled water plant as well as its existing central steam plant; an Entire Campus Maintenance Management Agreement, calling for management of contracted services for energy infrastructure, including the maintenance of remote boilers, chiller plants, high-voltage equipment and street and parking lot lighting; and Construction Management and Consulting Services Agreement, which will provide consultative and construction management services supporting energy master planning and modeling and construction management services for energy infrastructure projects.
