EMCOR increases geographic presence with Comfort Systems USA acquisition

February 22, 2002—EMCOR Group, Inc., has signed an agreement with Comfort Systems USA to acquire 19 of Comfort Systems USA’s subsidiary companies. Under terms of the agreement, EMCOR Group, a provider of mechanical and electrical construction services and facilities services, will pay Comfort Systems $186.25 million.
