October 17, 2003—EMSL Analytical, Inc., a mold and indoor air quality testing laboratory, will provide a series of indoor air quality workshops geared towards industry professionals at no charge.
“The IAQ workshops came to fruition after months of development and synergy between EMSL Analytical and industry professionals seeking quality hands-on training,” states Leslie Boggs, Director of Marketing for EMSL Analytical, Inc.’s West Coast Division. “With an IAQ workshop in 13 of our 23 facilities for the month of October alone, industry professionals for the first time will be able to acquire quality training at no charge, from a facility that’s near their home state.”
Each of the indoor air quality workshops will be instructed by one of the 14 Ph.D.s at EMSL Analytical, Inc. who hold an advanced degree in the field of microbiology. The one-day workshop will allow attendees to gain hands-on training on topics including: direct examination sampling for mold, air sampling for mold, air sampling for bacteria, indoor allergen sampling, total coliform sampling, legionella sampling, and endotoxin sampling.
“EMSL Analytical has created workshops that are unique in the IAQ arena. While other organizations charge hundreds of dollars for a seminar, and only focus on one or two sampling methods, EMSL Analytical provides hands-on training for a vast array of sampling methodologies ranging from mold and indoor allergens, to specific forms of bacterial sampling,” Leslie Boggs said in closing.
