Encompass Global Technologies was presented with the Pinnacle Innovation Award by Great Plains Software, Inc. at Convergence 2001, a four-day international business conference for Great Plains customers held in Orlando. Encompass Global Technologies is a division of Encompass Services Corporation, the largest provider of facilities systems and solutions in the United States.
The Pinnacle Innovation Award is presented to the customer who best utilizes Great Plains software to deliver measurable benefits within their business management system. Candidates are judged on creativity, vision, and overall results. Great Plains has more than 100,000 software users worldwide.
Encompass Global Technologies was nominated for the award by its vendor, IBIS, in recognition of innovative modifications to the end-to-end solution for the Encompass national call center’s customer response systems. The call center, located in Beltsville, Md. manages preventive maintenance on critical, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems in commercial and mission-critical facilities, and dispatches emergency service anywhere in the United States.
