May 12, 2003—Encore Seating has announced the premiere of Wap! its new seating collection that is versatile in aesthetics as well as specifications. With its self-contained ganging system that allows for the linking of chairs without the need for other tools or hardware, Wap! makes the set up and reconfiguration of conference, training, and meeting rooms—as well as cafeterias, auditoriums and other spacesswift and easy.
The Wap! collection includes two stacking features: The standard stacking configuration lets users vertically stack 10 chairs standing, while the trolley provides easier mobility when stacking 15 chairs high, says Encore Seating.
Wap! comes with five standard backrest options in translucent white, black opaque or grey opaque polypropylene, natural beech wood, or fully-upholstered. Additionally, the chairs can be equipped with white, black, and natural beechwood cap options to complement the products’ standard silver powdercoat frame and arm supports. The chairs come with glides or casters, and with beam-seating configurations in two, three, or four seats, available with or without a linking table.
For additional functionality, Wap! can be equipped with either a laptop tablet, or the specially designed writing tablet. This optional feature will literally fold away if the user needs to rise from the chair or exit a room quickly.
