April 7, 2003—ENSR International, an environmental services firm, has been awarded a subcontract to support the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence’s (AFCEE) $1.1 billion Worldwide Planning, Program, and Design contract as part of an EA Engineering Science & Technology Incorporated team. The AFCEE contract includes environmental conservation and planning, environmental quality, environmental restoration, and design and construction for USAF facilities around the world. ENSR expects to provide over $2 million in environmental services annually on this contract.
ENSR’s services include environmental and traditional construction project administration, management, oversight, and design, as well as development of operating and design guidance manuals for environmental systems. Other environmental engineering services will support the implementation of restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, and conservation programs at Air Force facilities.
