February 8, 2002—Environmental Support Solutions has announced its acquisition of Colorado Springs-based Jordan Systems, a provider of hazardous material inventory tracking, reportable chemical management, Right-to-Know compliance, environmental and safety reporting, waste reduction, cost accounting, and pollution prevention software. Jordans clients include Fortune 1000 companies in the electronics, aerospace, avionics, transportation, appliance, automotive, paper, plastics and defense industries. The company s current line of software products includes: Hazardous Material Manage (HMM), TIER II WIN and EnTrack.
This acquisition allows Environmental Support Solutions to integrate Jordans Best of Class features from the HMM software into its comprehensive Environmental Management Information Software (EMIS) product for corporate management of environmental data. The program supports a multifaceted framework of features including: MSDS approval, on-line MSDS management, a reportable chemical database, life cycle container tracking, process management tracking, management reports and state and federal report generation.
