December 17, 2007—In an effort to strengthen the legal framework for environmental protection in China, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently launched the EPA-China Environmental Law Initiative Web site. The site will provide a forum for sharing information and fostering an ongoing dialogue with China on environmental law.
The Web site features information on new developments in Chinese environmental law, links to legal resources such as reports, articles, and the English text of many Chinese environmental laws, as well as an e-mail update service.
Portions of the Web site have been translated into Chinese and are available on the EPA Chinese Portal.
