EPA launches “green” e-mail newsletter

July 25, 2007—The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is launching a monthly e-mail newsletter to provide “what you can do” information on activities and events that everyone can use to make a positive impact on the environment, whether at home, work, school, or in the community.

The newsletter will include information on such issues as how to calculate individual energy use, upcoming environmental activities and observances, and recent news reports from EPA. The July newsletter included articles on early hurricane preparations, buying Energy Star products, and calculating individual energy use.
