January 1, 2003—Environmental Support Solutions (ESS) has released a new version of its enterprise environmental management software suite. Essential EH&S 5.0 includes new browser-based forms for entering and tracking monitored variable and sample information. The new browser-based forms make it easy for managing day-to-day production data for recordkeeping, emission calculation, and reporting requirements.
Significant enhancements have been made to Essential Waste to make it easier to manage containers, shipments and on-site waste disposal activities. The browser-based Essential Task Manager has been enhanced to include new security, content, and display features. The new version also features add-on data catalogs that make it easy for customers to create their own custom reports, query their data, insert charts or graphs and perform calculations.
Updates to individual modules of the integrated suite include enhancements to the Essential Air module for improved flexibility and accuracy in air emission inventory calculations, changes to Essential Water for state regulatory reporting, manifest generation and biennial waste reporting updates to Essential Waste, improved query capabilities in Essential FEMS, and updated exposure session reports in Essential Industrial Hygiene.
