April 14, 2003—Environmental Support Solutions (ESS) has released a new browser-based chemical inventory module for its enterprise suite of environmental management products. This solution joins the companys other browser-based solutions for enterprise EH&S management including modules for MSDS viewing, compliance task management, incident management, air and water emissions data collection and waste management.
Essential Chemical Inventory version 6.0 is designed to track inventories of pure chemicals or chemical mixtures and accurately generate SARA Tier I and Tier II reports. The module employs Microsoft.NET-based Web architecture that allows cost-effective deployment of the application across a facility or enterprise. Essential Chemical Inventorys browser-based functionality can also be used alone or in combination with the programs client-server application.
“The browser-based functionality of version 6.0 really gives users the best of both worlds,” said Marc Dillon, product manager for chemical management products for ESS. “Users still have the same high level of data collection and reporting control they are accustomed to with the added flexibility of the browser interface.”
