Designed for ITM technicians, fire protection professionals, facility managers, and AHJs, this course reviews the core requirements of NFPA 25—including the roles and responsibilities of the owner or designated representative, the ITM technician, and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
The NFPA 25 Essentials Workshop offers Hands-on Training in the AFSA Training Lab. Participants learn essential NFPA 25 procedures for wet and dry systems, reinforced through hands-on demonstrations such as main drain testing, dry valve trip testing, and fire pump no-flow testing. These NFPA 25 ITM fundamentals prepare participants for the NICET Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems certification exams, provide prep for the NFPA Water-Based Inspector (WBITM) credential, and support readiness for other industry credentialing tests.
